"Who Killed Marilyn?" as written by and Glen Danzig....
5:25 August fifth, 1962
Found her lying on her chest
Her face all turning blue
You think it was an overdose
But could it have been the pact
Could it have been the Kennedys
Was it LAPD

It ain't a mystery
Baby not to me
Funny, funny, funny mystery
Baby not to me

Rotted corpse, sex decay
Breasts all full of slugs
No answer for the accident
Her cunt has all dried up, you see

5:25 August fifth, 1962
Make it seem a suicide
Make it seem a suicide
Make it seem a suicide
Make it seem a suicide

It ain't a mystery
Baby not to me
Funny, funny, funny mystery
Baby not to me

It ain't a mystery
Baby not to me
Funny, funny, funny mystery
Baby not to me

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa-oh

General CommentHere's an interesting bit of info behind how the Misfits got their name and their fixation with Marylin Monroe. Arthur Miller, a famous playwrite (Death Of A Salesman, The Crucible) was married to Monroe for a while, but she was still in love with Joltin' Joe so they seperated. Well a little while later Monroe died and an explanation for her death never came out. Miller decided to write a play about Monroe's life called Misfits, which chronicles Monroe's life from her rough childhood to her glamouros adulthood. Hence, the name of the band, and their fascination with Monroe. Good song too.

General Commentmisirlou is right, Marilyn was in the film version of the Misfits-the band is named after this film. Arthur Miller wrote the screenplay for it. Another interesting thing about Marilyn is that she had a relationship with Anto Szander LaVey (the founder of the church of Satan)
