Where did we start?
Where did we end?
How long did it take
to do all we did?

these questions plague my mind
the answers come so slow
but im movin on
im movin on
i'm learning to let go

I'm learning to move on
I'm learning to live alone
I'm finally learning how to make it
All on my own

Although your in my heart
I still just miss your soul
But i'm movin on
I'm moving on
I'm learning to let go

What made us laugh?
Why did we cry?
What did we talk about?
did we ever fight?

I can't remember
that was so long ago
But i'm moving on
I'm movin on
I'm learning to let go.

I'm learning to move on
I'm learning to live alone
I'm finally learning how to make it
All on my own

Although your in my heart
I still just miss your soul
But i'm moving on
I'm movin on
I'm learning to let go

When can i see you?
When can i touch your face?
Can i hold you just for a moment?
All these questions
you answered for me
cuz you said you'd be in God's hands

So, i'm learning to move on
I'm learning to be so strong
Ill make sure that even though you've left
Your name will carry on.

Although your in my heart
Yes, i feel you in my soul
I'm learning to live
I'm learning to breath
I'm learning to fly
I am learning
I am leaning
I'm learning to let, learning to let you go

General Comment Learning to Let Go was written about my best friend Emily Siedlarz that passed away with cancer over 4 years ago at the age of 15. I asked Daniel to help write this song to keep her memory alive as well as to help me learn to cope with her death.
