"Night of the Living Dead" as written by Christopher Todd Bailey, Rick Gadzig, Kenny Hallman, Rick Nemes and Steve Russell....
Whoa oh oh oh
Whoa oh
Whoa oh

Stumble in somnambulance so
Pre-dawn corpses come to life
Armies of the dead surviving
Armies of the hungry ones

Only-ones, lonely-ones
Ripped up like shredded-wheat
Only-ones, lonely-ones
Be a sort of human picnic

This ain't no love-in
This ain't no happening
This ain't no feeling in my arm

Whoa
Whoa oh
Whoa oh
Whoa oh

You think you're a zombie, you think it's a scene
From some monster magazine
Well, open your eyes [now/too late]
This ain't no fantasy, boy

This ain't no love-in
This ain't no happening
This ain't no feeling in my arm

Whoa
Whoa oh
Whoa oh
Whoa oh
Whoa oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh

    General Comment"You think you're a zombie,
    You think it's a scene
    From some monster magazine well,
    Open your eyes too late"

I think song is saying beware to new comers to the misfits who think its all postuering but there really was violence at their shows.

General CommentNight Of The Living dead (1968)
Dawn of the dead (1978 i guess)
    Day of the dead (1986)
Night of the living dead re-make (1990-pretty cool)
Dawn Of The Dead (2004-kind of suck)

All Romero's movies and based in his movies

General CommentDude, Return of the Living Dead kicked ass, its sequels sucked, but the first was good. Not to mention 2004 Dawn of the Dead had nothing to do with Romero or his movie, it just had the same name. Oh and there's Land of the Dead to add to that list now too. Good song by the way. =p Gotta love The Misfits. (with Danzig)

General CommentI don't think there's any meaning to this song. Don't get me wrong, Danzig does use alot of metaphor and satire in his songs, just not this one.
And there was nothing wrong with the '04 Dawn of the Dead remake. It's one of the best zombie movies I've seen in awhile. Certainly better than fucking "Shaun of the Dead", which tries (and, I'll admit, momentarily succeeds) at being funny, before just becoming a below average horror-gore with Queen playing in the background.
