"Born Stubborn" as written by Massimiliano A. Cavalera, Andreas Rudolf Kisser, Igor Cavalera and Paulo Xisto Jr. Pinto....
Stubborn from the start
Obey no one no matter what
Our life it's our right
Why don't you go away

We live without orders
We live without rules
Tearing down the wall
That try to hold us in

Born in pain
Born stubborn

I got my tribe it's my own right
And I don't have to tell you why
It's been like that from the start
And you can't break it apart
Sepultura in our hearts
Can't take it away
These roots will always remain

Born in pain
Born stubborn

Stubborn from the start
Obey no one no matter what ?!
Our life it's our right
Why don't you go away

We live without orders
We live without rules
Tearing down the wall
That try to hold us in

Born in pain
Born stubborn

I got my tribe it's my own right
And I don't have to tell you why
It's been like that from the start
And you can't break it apart
Sepultura in our hearts
Can't take it away
These roots will always remain

Born in pain
Born stubborn
Born in pain
Born in pain

Suffering life
Make us rise

General CommentThis is a really good song, One of the faster songs from Roots. It just has that big kickass riff, and Igor really pins the beat down on the drums. Igor is an amazing drummer, Sepultura used to be one of the worlds best bands. Now look at them. And soulfly for that matter. Shame,as Max is an incredible songwriter.

My Opinion'Sepultura in our hearts, Can't take it away, These Roots will always remain!' my favourite part. i think this song is about who they (the sepultura) are. and they don't care what people said about them being stubborn because it is what they are since the beginning. and none of that will tears them apart. i think.
