"Physical Attraction" as written by and Reginald Grant Lucas....
You say that you need my love
And you're wantin' my body I don't mind
Baby all I've got is time
And I'm waiting to make you mine

You say you want to stay the night
But you'll leave me tomorrow I don't care
All of your moves are right
We can take it anywhere this

Physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction
Physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction

Trying hard to get away
But I can't seem to fight the way I feel
Even though you're not for real
Your touch is driving me
Crazy and when you smile
It's just makin' me want you more and more
Baby won't you stay awhile
It could be such a fantasy

Physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction
It's a physical attraction
Sweet satisfaction

Maybe we were meant to be together
Even though we never met before
We got to move before the sun is rising
And you'll be walking slowly out the door, out the door

You say that you need my love
And you wantin' my body, I don't mind
Baby all I've got is time
And I'm waiting to make you mine

You say you want to stay the night
But you'll leave me tomorrow, I don't care
All of your moves are right
We can take it anywhere

Physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction
It's a physical attraction
Sweet satisfaction

Maybe we were meant to be together
Even though we never met before
We got to move before the sun is rising
And you'll be walking slowly out the door, out the door

Physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction
It's a physical attraction
It's a chemical reaction

Physical attraction
So much satisfaction, attraction, reaction
So much satisfaction
It's a physical, a physical, a physical attraction
A chemical, a chemical reaction
Physical, physical attraction
A chemical, a chemical reaction
A physical, a physical attraction

General CommentPhysical Attraction is by far Madonnas deepest song of "hunger". The hunger of the flesh and the heart. Released in 1983 it is one of Madonnas earliest songs. It was released as a single, which explains why its so long. it fuses pop, synth, r&b, and what would be a trademark in many other songs... deep throaty talk. It is about uncertainty, about wanting and waiting - much like Borderline. I love it for its length and confusion and for Madonnas earliest if not the first example of her extremely wide vocal range, of which very very few singers have. A this time Madonna was hungry for International fame and fortune amidst the hard rough dirty city of New York. In a crowded megalopolis city of NY, Madonna would certainly be looking for love, someone to nurture her.

Of all he songs this is my favorite without a doubt. Its true pure Madonna as a young artist singing from the heart and soul.
