"Hello Time Bomb" as written by Matthew Good and Dave Genn....
I found me a reason
So check me tomorrow
We'll see if I'm leaking
Push and push and push till it hurts
My devil's on rollerskates
Down at the roller rink
Picking up chicks for me
Ones that push and push and push till it hurts
Push and push till it hurts
Dirty enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Dirty enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Life's for the living
So check me tomorrow
We'll see if I'm kidding
Push and push and push till it hurts
Did it on Ritalin
I got me some good grades
Now I work me the night shift
Where I pull and pull and pull till it hurts
Pull and pull till it hurts
Dirty enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Dirty enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Hello time bomb, I'm ready to go off
If life's for the livid
Check me tomorrow
We'll see if I'm emperor
My devil's on sugared smacks
Down at the radio shack
We're turning shit into solid gold, solid gold
Dirty enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Dirty it enough I got me a love
And it's so bad, it's so bad
Hello time bomb, I'm ready to go off
Hello time bomb, I'm ready to go off.

General CommentStraight from the horse's mouth: this song is about sex. Matt Good said once, something along the lines of "this song's about me sitting in a chair wanting to get laid." weird, huh?

General CommentDude, this was one of the biggest songs of 1999 in Canada. Number one album, number one on radio, number one on Much. Where's the love?

In the audio commentary for the video on the "In A Coma" DVD, Matt says that the song (and the video) is about working crapy jobs, and feeling like nothing, and wanting go ride off and get laid by some chick who comes into your crappy place of employment.

It was my theme song this past summer, while working in retail while on break from college. "Did it on Ritalin/I got me some good grades/Now I work me the night shift"=my life this past summer. Urgh.

General CommentI heard from someone that it was about him jerking off while he worked in a gas station

"Pull and pull til it hurts"...

Not to be crude, but ya, that's what I heard anyways.

General CommentAfter I read what LikeYouMeanIt said, I was listening to this song and the chorus came on.. "Dirty enough/I got me a love/And it's so bad/It's so bad" and that could also fit it. It also made me laugh

General CommentNo. KatOuz is the only one who got it right. "Pulling till it hurts" just means that he works and works till he can't anymore. He's giving it his all. It's an old saying.
