"Bleed" as written by and Ronald Ward....
I'm feeling crossed
I take it inside
Burn up the pain
My thoughts are strange
Just like the things
I used to love
Just like the tree that fell
I heard it
If art is still inside
I feel it

[Chorus]
I want to bleed
Show the world all that I have inside
I want to scream
Let the blood flow that keeps me alive

Take all these strings
They call my veins
Wrap them around
Every fucking thing

Presence of people
Not for me
Well I must remain in tune
Forever
My love is music
I will marry melody

[Chorus]

Won't you let me take you
For a ride
You can stop the world
Try to change my mind
Won't you let me show you
How it feels
You can stop the world
But you won't change me

I need music
I need music
I need music to set me free
To let me bleed

General Commentif music ever made you feel that spark that only music can then you need this song, it just fits anyone who is in love with real music that comes from deep inside. if you can hear this song, with its amazing background vocals by aaron lewis and cold's distinctive sound, without feeling touched deeply then you're completely devoid of senses and im sorry you'll never feel this.

General Commentabsolutely the best song I've heard in a long time. I can't even discribe the feeling I get listening to this song. This song shows what real music sounds like.

General CommentThis song says everything that I've ever needed to express as a musician. Ward has complete control of his voice and doesn't overlap the guitar work but instead each support the other. Lyrically, one of the best cold songs out there. Plz visit: wastegateband.com

General CommentI absolutely love this song. I am in complete awe..with all cold and staind songs...god i love great songs that can stand on their own with just a simple guitar. Aaron Lewis is just about the best singer/songwriter/artist/musician i have ever heard perform

General Commentthe definition of how music makes me feel...sometimes stuff gets to hard, and you listen to music to help "bleed" the feeling of the situation you feel at the time...to purge it out of your system...the guitars intertwine beautifully along with the lyrics...bravo!

General Comment"I had the song for 5 years, Aaron sang on the new release. He picked out the song Bleed for us to play out of all the acoustic songs that I have. It's about musicians wanting to bleed in their music. It's what I want people to feel." ~Scooter Ward

    General Comment07 - "Epiphany"
"Epiphany" is just kind of another realization type of song, kind of an explanation. It was an epiphany in the fact that I had heard the whole song in my head and just had to keep doing things until it was complete. I did everything on that song. I programmed the drums, I did the keyboards for the strings of the chorus, played the guitar, played the bass and did the vocals.
