it started out in a half meet have none
to find a place where you dont know someone
and you say something kind but you dont say why
and the best you can find is a well placed lie
its fitting this had to be so twisted
you got there late and i guess you missed it
and you tried and you lied but your intent shows
and i come to rely on a young mans hopes
secrets ride through the air
tempting us like a dare
its not unlike for the sake of night today
you might escape as to somehow find a way
were not unlike in the words wed like to say
it all comes down to some patience and trust
trinity bellwoods all around us
and i cried and i tried to get on your side
and you tried and you cried cause you cant decide
people come to their own conclusions
we enter this under no illusions
and we wait for the fate that we cant let die
and we say that its late but they still rely
secrets ____ through the air
catches us unaware
its not unlike for the sake of night today
you might escape as to somehow find a way
were not alike in the words wed like to say
to say
to say
to say
to say

General CommentMost depressing song ever...very indie...depressing but not in a make me cry way...in a sort of nostalgic way.

"and you say something kind but you dont say why
and the best you can find is a well placed lie "

"you might escape as to somehow find a way
were not unlike in the words wed like to say "

It's about how we always sugarcoat our words as to not offend anyone and we really want to say something else but don't say it even if we know the other person does to...whether it be to a friend, an old gf/bf...whatever.

Trinity Bellwoods is the name of a park in Toronto Canada btw....so that's where the title comes from..."Trinity Bellwoods all around us"
