"Seed" as written by Bradley James Nowell, Eric John Wilson and Floyd I. Gaugh Iv....
I take the life from the seed
I rectify the lost need
I am the one who can't sleep
You're the one who can't dream

I'll fly away
Lost in the sun
Vanish in the haze
Nowhere to run

I take the whole from the part
I clarify the lost art
I am the light in the dark
I am prepared to depart

[Chorus]

Nowhere to run

[Chorus: x2]

Nowhere to run
Nowhere to run

General CommentWhat the fuck is wrong with every1, this is 1 of the best songs by 1 of the most underated bands in rock. The guitar riffs r dark and haunting and the vocals r wicked

General Comment"I take the life from the seed
    I rectify the lost need"

Well the seed is the thing that gives live so I guess he is taking life away before it even given. And to rectify the lost need I guess its like correcting the needs that were lost by taking life before it was given.

"I am the one who can't sleep
You're the one who can't dream"

He is an insomniac but he can dream while the person he is going to kill cant.. I really dont know...

    "I'll fly away
    Lost in the sun
    Vanish in the haze
    Nowhere to run"

he will run from the trouble he caused lost in the greater place, gone from the destruction but he cant run... I think.

"I take the whole from the part
    I clarify the lost art"

Well a part of something he takes the whole of it before it became the whole. He makes sure the art thats lost is still there.

"I am the light in the dark
    I am prepared to depart"

He is like an angel in hell. Prepared to die.

Thats kinda what I get from the lyrics =/
Its kinda hard to come up with an meaning for such a GREAT song... Too cool for me XD
