"Sweetheart" as written by and Louise Ann/barlow Rhodes....
The devil makes work
For idle hand to do
He can take these hands
If they're not touching you
And the lips of mine
Would rather turn to stone
Than kiss another
Now that you are gone

I'm so alone
When are you coming home?
I'm so alone
When are you coming home?

I know that love's
A many-splendored thing
Loses its spark
Without the joy you bring
And happiness
Can be an empty term
But I found heaven
Nestling in your arms
And now you're gone

[Chorus: x2]

General CommentThis is a fabulous song. I love the heavy bass and the triphop feel. I think the lyrics are pretty self explanitory. Her voice is so haunting. It's like she's singing just inside your head. The harmonies are simple but effective.

MemoryTo me, this is a very sad song, which often reminds me of a loved one I lost; she died from cancer, and I couldn't accept she was gone, I thought for a very long time I wouldn't be able to love someone else.
I definitely thought I would never need my lips again to kiss somebody or something like this.

The feeling gradually vanished, although I'm still not all over it, but the song always makes me think of it.
