"Always On My Mind" as written by Johnny Christopher, Wayne Carson and Mark James....
Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I make you feel second best
Girl, I'm so sorry I was blind

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance
To keep you satisfied, satisfied
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time

You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
Maybe I didn't treat you

General Commentthis song says everything about my last relationship: I took him for granted, although I truly loved him, and still do, I had a pretty crappy way of showing it, so he took his three things and walked out of my life

the song? about a guy who hurt his girlfriend emotionally, paying no attention etc, the girl löeft him and now he's begun tu understand what she meant to him, but it's too late to fix it.

General CommentSong was written by Willie Nelson I believe, and it's about regretting taking someone for granted, like your wife. You don't know what you have until it's gone. I think Elvis sang this one becuase it reminded him of Prescilla and how he regrets screwing up his marriage with her.

General CommentYeah I think Presley sang this after the pain of his divorce. Very much fits, he couldn't be there for her. I think his version is by far the best.
Haha this is also the song I first ever knew the words too..even before like..nursery ryhems haha
How messed up is that..here I was this 3 year old kid singing along to Elvis. I blame my parents :P

General CommentI listened to this song a lot after my first relationship ended and it is so easy to relate to. The straightforward lyrics tell of when his girlfriend dumped him, but he still loved her more than anything and wanted to be with her. Who can't relate to that?
