"Phototropic" as written by and Josh Homme....
Under light, that I have never seen
Go to the light, reach up to the beam
Under light, under light
Reach up to the sun or you can run

Found the roof, the smallness of it all
Found the roof, you will never fall
You'll never (4x)

General CommentNatural beauty of light I guess, excellent song though. Putting these lyrics up isn't the half of it either, the chilled out intro is incredible.

General Commenti suspect this thread is long dead but i reckon this song is about a plant/tree growing up towards the light of the sun. reaching up, sightless, instinctive. as for the lyrics above, i always hear 'reach up to the beam' and i think the first line of the second verse is 'send your roots'
    just my tuppence worth

General CommentThis song is one of Kyuss' best. It is simply epic, intense and beautiful.

Could be about a plant growing (phototropism), spiritual enlightenment or simply one's peaceful death.

This is probably like Whitewater, an ode to the greatness of nature.
