I would never bother you
I would never promise to
I would never bother you
I would never promise to
If I say that word again
I would move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
You won't be afraid of fear
You won't be afraid of fear
I am walking in the piss
Always knew it would come to this
Things have never been so swell
And I have never felt so
Hey, hey, hey
You know you're right
You know you're right
You know you're right
It's cold now come inside
I no longer have to hide
Let's talk about someone else
She just wants to love herself
She moves away from here
She just wants to love herself
I won't move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
I won't move away from here
You won't be afraid of fear
I am walking in the piss
Always knew it would come to this
Things have never been so swell
And I have never been so well

You know you're right You know you're right
You know you're right Maybe you're right...

General Commenti think this was one of the last songs kurt ever wrote and courtney sang it on unplugged. but yeah, she does sing it really well, its a beautiful song.

General Commentthis was the last song that nirvana ever recorded, and one of the focuses of that whole trial that i'm sure you've all heard about....she played it as a tribute to kurt, i quite like it. i hope to hear the nirvana version as well.

General Commentkurt did not write this song for her. as meganB said, this song is the last studio recording done by nirvana, only three months before kurt's "suicide." This, along with "old age" was coverd by hole, but written by kurt. Courtney did change some of the lyrics in her version, however. the nirvana version is called you've got no right, and seems to be more about not wanting courney love. its says, in fact, among other things "i don't want to love again." and "i don't think i want Love"

We all hope to hear the nirvana version, the real version, soon. it is susposed to be on a greatest hits coming out later this year. but it was also suposed to be on the box set which was "coming out last year."

Courtney will get hers in the end.

General CommentCourtney's version is nothing to Nirvana's version. It's amazing. She screwed up the lyrics and what not.

General CommentWhat's funny is she renamed the song when basically all the lyrics are the same, which means she probably tried to make it look like they never actually recorded the song. But Kurt sings it so much truer, she's a great singer and all but she's a bitch.

General CommentThis song was supposed to go on "In Utero" from what I've heard, but got cut before the album came out. I don't know why, because it's a really great song. It's called "You Know You're Right" and these lyrics are different from the Nirvana lyrics, for the worse it seems. Although, they are still pretty good I guess, it's just when you hear Kurt sing the different lyrics, they just sound so much better!

General CommentI've heard both versions and have come to the conclusion that Courtney needs to be tied to a chair, stripped naked, and spanked with a stapler until she apologizes for killing Kurt.

    murdering bitch.

sorry... had to let it out...
