"Fame (What She's Wanting)" as written by John M Shanks and Mitchell Allan Scherr....
Staring down from thirty thousand feet above the planet
She gets the sense nothing's behind her anymore
Her quest for fame has left her nothing short of a fanatic
For the chance to be the one that we adore

Fame's what she's wanting
You can't go too far (when that's who you are, because)
Fame's what she's wanting
Not a face in the crowd just a disposable pop star

They called her princess cause they always knew she'd be a servant
Never having an ambition in her life
They all knew she end up just another loser's girlfriend
Who'd a thought she'd become a Jedi Knight

Bittersweet the taste of

General Comment"They called her princess cause they always knew she'd be a servant" i love that line. this song is pretty self explainatory- she wants her 15 cminutes in the spotlight.

General Commentself explanitory? perhaps...it paints this picture of this girl who wants to sell out but she becomes a "jedi knight" which is an image that is the opposite of selling out....being a jedi is such a positive thing....makes you wonder why the song ends on such a positive note

General CommentI always took this as a slap in the face to whoever the girl is.

This girl gets lucky, ditches her "loser" boyfriend (probably the singer of the band), and becomes loved by everyone.
