"All Summer Long" as written by and Christopher Anton Rea....
All summer long we were happy we were one
We didn't think of an ending to our play
All summer long nights of wine, days of song
It couldn't last, our aging sun had to go
I will always remember you

Watching the waves in the wind
The beach dogs hiding from the rain
Suddenly my colors have turned to grey
Will I ever see your face again

And all winter long I will walk my lonely road
Waiting for you and your return
I will always remember you

General CommentCorrect Lyrics (from youtube video):
    I’ve got my wheels
    I’ve got my clean shirt
I got enough to get me where she’ll be

    Skin is burning
    Hearts on fire
    Take my old dream
    to the sea

    All I know is
    she will be there
    Turn it up
    and Turn it on
    All Summer Long
    All Summer Long

    Look ahead
    There’s nothing but blue sky
Kiss the rain and laugh as it goes by
Learn to smile while everyone else cries
Sing this song All Summer Long
    All summer long
    All summer long

I’ve been waiting through the winter
I’ve been dreaming of this day
    All I know is
    she will be there
    Turn it up
    Turn it on
    So Turn it up
    Turn it on
    All Summer Long
    All Summer Long

    Nothing but blue skies
    Nothing but blue skies
    All Summer Long
    All Summer Long

    Lyric Correction@ sirnuke:

actually Chris has two songs called "All summer long". The one you cited is from the "King of the Beach" album, while the one above is from the "Shamrock diaries" album. They are totally different, and both really worth listening to. And hey, the video to the one you mentioned is REALLY nice ;)
