"C Moon" as written by and Linda Mccartney Paul Mccartney....
See moon, see moon, see moon is she
See moon, see moon, see moon to me

How come no one older than me
Ever seems to understand the things I want to do
It will be a seven and I'd never get to heaven
If I filled my head with glue
What's it all to you

See moon, see moon, see moon is she
See moon, see moon, see moon to me

Bobby lived with Patty
But they never told her daddy
What their love was all about
She could tell her lover that he thought
But she never was the type to let it out
What's it all about

See moon, see moon, oh see moon are we
See moon, see moon, see moon are we

How come no one older than me
Ever seems to understand the things I want to do
It will be a seven and I'd never get to heaven
If I filled my head with glue
What's it all to you

See moon, see moon, see moon is she
See moon, see moon, see moon to me

Bobby lived with Patty
But they never told her daddy
What their love was all about
She could tell her lover that he thought
But she never wanted to let it out
What's it all about

See moon, see moon, see moon are we
See moon, see moon, see moon are we

Well what's it all about

See moon, see moon, see moon are we
See moon are we

General CommentThis song's cute. I think it's about being young and feeling misunderstood. It's kind of saying you can't ignore your dreams.

It will be L7 and I'd never get to heaven
If I filled my head with glue
    What's it all to you?

So, about this part, L7 (as someone already pointed out) is British slang meaning square and C Moon's the opposite of that. I think he's saying 'my life could be really boring and I could follow all the rules but I would never accomplish anything unless I let myself be who I am.'

General CommentThis is oviously a pretty dirty song. I mean whenever I here this song it doesn't sound like he's saying "c moon" but "Semen"!

"How Come No One Older Than Me
Ever Seems To Understand The Things I Wanna To Do?"

Older people don't understand why he want to do the dirty like he does, they think he's a freak if he tell theim what he did.

"It Will Be L7 And I'd Never Get To Heaven"

L7 means Square but 7 minutes in heaven is a populer sex game played by kids and young people

"If I Filled My Head With Glue
    What's It All To You?"

Filled my head with glue = Semen is white like glue. He's saying its none of your buisness if he wants to do it a lot.

    "Bobby Lived With Patty
But They Never Told Her Daddy
What Their Love Was All About"

Prety self explanitry. You dont tell your dad when you do the dirty with his dauter! Unless you want to be shot!!

"She Could Tell Her Lover That He Thought But
She Never Was The Type To Let It Out
    What's It All About?"

She says she alredy thinks her dad thinks they are freaks in the sheets but she isnt a kiss and tell type so she dont say anything about it to nobody else.

"C Moon, C Moon, C Moon Is She
C Moon, C Moon, C Moon To Me"

C moon = Semen, another word for Semen is cum, "Semen to me = he's saying they's shoot their loads into each other

Thats just what it means to me, i might be rong.

General CommentC Moon was supposed to represent a circle and be the opposite of L7 with represents 'square' (i.e. not hip). So, C Moon equals cool.

Not my favorite song although it shows up on EVERY greatest hits package - it must have sentimental value for Paul.

General CommentL7 is from America. It was first used in Sam The Shams "Wooly Bully". Here is an explanation:

"The warning, "Let's not be L-7's"", means "Let's not be squares", from the shape formed by the fingers making an L on one hand and a 7 on the other"

When I lived in Liverpool, I thought it was to do with the postcode area "L7" being not so cool.

General CommentIt may not represent something entirely deep, but it's truly a fun song. I always get pumped when I hear it.

General CommentI don't know how so many people can call this song stupid. My only guess is that you're not looking into the lyrics enough. At first the they seem nonsensical, but, like the others have said, it's about the younger generation not being understood. And even if you consider the lyrics stupid, they aren't the whole song. Granted, they never were his strong point, but his vocals are astounding and the music is great as well. And it showcases his personality, which is likely the reason it's considered a greatest hit. I love this song (very catchy) and I love Paul McCartney!
