"Let Me Roll It" as written by and Paul Mccartney Linda Mccartney....
You gave me something
I understand
You gave me loving in the palm of my hand

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

I want to tell you
And now's the time
I want to tell you that
You're going to be mine

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

You gave me something
I understand
You gave me loving in the palm of my hand

I can't tell you how I feel
My heart is like a wheel
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you
Let me roll it
Let me roll it to you

General CommentRumour has it....that this song is an homage to Lennon...

    Paul cops John's production/writing style....

A smarter man than I told me so........I believe him..

General CommentIs it really a drug-related song?? I hope not. First Lucy In The Sky with Diamonds, now this :(

    General CommentScottishMindset-
there are A LOT more drug related Beatle (and solo Beatle) songs than Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.
Got to Get You Into My Life, for example.

General Commentman, I love this song. I honestly don't think it has anything to do with drugs. he says "my heart is like a wheel" which is followed by let me roll it, which, alone, sounds like ohh drugs! but it's preceding line changes everything.

General CommentI think it's very "Lennon". It is Paul singing Lennon. Beautiful.

General CommentI think it has double meaning, in one hand talks about love, girls and stuff, but in the other hand the secret meaning of the song is to have fun about Lennon, calling him something like pot head, like: eeeh John you always talking bout love and deep things but look at you! You are just a poor old pot-head, just shout up your jiberish and LET ME ROLL IT TO YOU

General Commentthis song reminds me of "I Want You" by The Beatles when they were together.
just the timed out guitar riff that adds the tension at a timed spot.
idk just my point of view.

General CommentBuddy11 is too right, a wise person told me the same thing. I thought it was strange though, considering the lyrics... "I Want To Tell You That
    You're Going To Be Mine"
