"Hey Pocky Way" as written by and Art Neville Joseph Modeliste....
Little bitty boy, with a heart of steel
I know you can't boggie now, but your sister sure will
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Say Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Laugh back foolin' in your car
Makes no difference who or where you are
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Laugh back foolin' in your car
Makes no difference who or where you are
Feel good music in your soul
Makes your body want to rock 'n' roll
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way
Hey Hey, Hey Pocky Way

General CommentThe Meters version has 2-3 extra verses, and they adapted the whole song (including the phrase "Hey Pocky Way") from New Orleans street chanting. The meaning is kind of self-evident, I think: Feel good music in your soul makes your body wanna rock and roll. Not very complicated.
