"Flowers In The Window" as written by and Francis Healy....
When I first held you I was cold
A melting snowman I was told
But there was no-one there to hold before
I swore that I would be alone for ever more
Wow look at you now
Flowers in the window
It's such a lovely day
And I'm glad you feel the same
Cause to stand up, out in the crowd
You are one in a million
And I love you so
Lets watch the flowers grow

There is no reason to feel bad
But there are many seasons to feel glad, sad, mad
It's just a bunch of feelings that we have to hold
But I am here to help you with the load

Wow look at you now
Flowers in the window
It's such a lovely day
And I'm glad you feel the same
Cause to stand up, out in the crowd
You are one in a million
And I love you so
Lets watch the flowers grow

So now we're here and now is fine
So far away from there and there is time, time, time
To plant new seeds and watch them grow
So there'll be flowers in the window when we go

Wow look at us now
Flowers in the window
It's such a lovely day
And I'm glad you feel the same
Cause to stand up, out in the crowd
You are one in a million,
And I love you so
Lets watch the flowers grow
Wow look at you now
Flowers in the window
Its such a lovely day
And I'm glad you feel the same
Cause to stand up, out in the crowd
You are one in a million
And I love you so
Let's watch the flowers grow
Let's watch the flowers grow

General CommentYeah, I agree.I think it's a very positive song saying there's hope for us, we'll find "The One", its about somone finding The One and wanting to spend his/her life with him/her and have children etc., hence the lyrics:

"So now we're here and now is fine
    So far away from there
And there is time, time, time
To plant new seeds and watch them grow
So there'll be flowers in the window when we go"

The seeds mentioned in the above lyrics may be a metafor for having kids, but also just for the love between the two people in the song. There you go. My opinion:)

General CommentThis song means a lot to me because its one of the many Travis songs that I can relate to my life. I think it's about thinking that no one could ever possible love you, and just being resigned to the fact that your existence will be lonely. But then you find someone that spins your whole world upside-down onto its ass, and then the world is lovely and amazing and you just want to share it all with that person.

General CommentI went to a Travis concert last year and Fran dedicated this song to all the couples there that were expecting a baby.

It may be about having a baby, it may be about a girlfriend, its just one of those wonderful love songs that means something special and something different to everyone.

General CommentIt's about growing old with the person you love.

I went to a Travis concert just last Thursday, he dedicated it to all the women in the crowd.
