"It Doesn't Matter" as written by Jonas Von Der Burg, Anoo Finn Ananda Bhagavan and Niclas Von Der Burg....
It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
It doesn't matter if I cry
Don't matter if I bleed
You've been on a road
Don't know where it goes or where it leads

It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
If you've made up your mind to go
I won't beg you to stay
You've been in a cage
Throw you to the wind you fly away

It doesn't matter what I want
It doesn't matter what I need
It doesn't matter if I cry
Doesn't matter if I bleed
Feel the sting of tears
Falling on this face you've loved for years

General CommentThis song makes me cry...its sad. It sounds like she was in a relationship with someone who she thought loved her back and he just left her and didn't care about her pain or her feelings.

General CommentThis song reminds me of Dopplegangland, a Buffy episode with evil Willow who rules! But it does have a deeper meaning which is very upsetting "It dosen't matter if I cry, it dosen't matter if I bleed"

General CommentI have a different perspective... it's not like he leaves her and doesn't care about her feelings. It's her telling him he should go (for whatever reason), that she won't be selfish by making him stay for her. It's okay if he goes, she understands...

Yes, it's a sad song, but it's beautiful... about self sacrifice, if you ask me. But hey, that's just my opinion ;)

General CommentI agree with FeyTH. Her talking about him being on a road and in a cage seems to suggest that he wants to go somewhere, and she's giving up her own feelings of love to let him go.

General CommentBuffy soundtrack. Kinda relates to Buffy's reaction to Angel leaving Sunnydale in Graduation Day.

General CommentIt's about loving enough to let go, no matter how much you want to hand on.

She's decided she has to let him go.....if he doesn't come back he was never her's to begin with....but she'll take the risk and release him :((
