Too much, too fast maybe.
I don't know where my destiny's taking me.
I'll go where ever it leads me.
Too high, too low baby.
I want know where my destiny's taking me.
So I'll go to make you believe me.

Cry, cry when there's something to cry about.
Cry, cry baby, don't drown in the sadness.

It's madness.
Don't ask me to explain. Don't take away the pain.
It's impossible to save me.
So come on!

Too cheap, too scary.
Too creepy to marry.
Too serious and too mysterious and way to, way too deep.
Cry, cry when there's something to cry about.
Cry, cry baby, don't drown in the sadness.

It's madness.
Don't ask me to explain. Don't take away the pain.
It's impossible to save me.
It's madness.
So easy to complain. Nobody left to blame.
It's impossible to save me.

Crack in the shield. It feels so unreal.
No one to blame for loosing the flame.
Crack in the shield, lost in the fields of sadness.

It's madness...

It's madness.
Don't ask me to explain. Don't take away the pain.
It's impossible to save me.
Save me from madness
Oh its madness
Know that its madness
Wake up its madness
So come on!

I can't believe nobody's commented on this song! I think some of the lyrics are missing, though... The chorus is awesome! The chorus and verses seem so different, though. I think the verses are talking about trying to find who or what is right for you...and then you get sad when you can't find that person. So they say cry when there's something to cry about, but this isn't it. The line "don't take away the pain" is really powerful because it makes you realize that you have to live through the pain to be stronger. And I don't think the "it's impossible to save me" is depressing...instead, I think it means "nothing's wrong with me...so don't try to fix me!"

Ugh! Its those "baby"s in this song that keep throwing me off from the meaning. Everytime he says "baby" it means he's talking to someone. Not about someone, nor is he generally speaking to the audience/readers. That's my input. This is a tough one for me to interpret. It does seem like the stanzas are everywhere. "Too cheap, too scary. Too creepy to marry." Its like he's describing women he finds himself with or describing himself. The meaning could be very simple. I might just be reading far too much into the "baby"s.

what i think he is trying to say is that sadness will always be there no matter what and there is no use trying to get rid of it forcefully just let it come and what happens happens dont take life so sereously dont dwell on the future dont dwell on the past just focus on the here and now.

I think Lauri once said that somewhere in this song, The Rasmus' ex-drummer Janne came into the question. "No-one to blame for losing the flame" - Janne lost his passion for the music and the band.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
