"Starry Eyes" as written by and Nikki Sixx....
When she laughs
She's got the power of a child in her eyes
And when you cry now
She'll hold you like a man's supposed to be held
I can't get into words how I feel
Get it right in this song now
I had to set her free
Needed a friend
Come back to me

Oh starry eyes
Oh oh (repeat)

Standing alone in the light
You could see her cry
With a smile and a wink
And a sparkle in her eyes
She calmly sighed, I will be alright
Okay child you've had to take the pain
Of a man in the streets
You gotta let me in
Needed a friend
Even just for one night

Oh, starry eyes
Oh, oh (repeat)

Oh no, oh no, oh no
Oh, starry eyes
Oh, oh (repeat)

General Commentone of the best songs, but then again all early motley crue is fucking good, this and merry go round have to be my fav songs off this well the orginal album, pluss thelive version of merry go round which is avilable on the music to crash your car to collection is better than the original version.

i belive this is about that one and only girl that everyone can go to every night and know even if work sucked they accomplished something. or it might even be about a girl that was just a fuck and run case and he realized that she was there for him even after they fucked but he didnt want that... and it could also be a song about a girl on the tour that they met and he cant help but think about her cause she was the greatest but he had to let her go.
