"How Soon Is Now (cover)" as written by and Steven Patrick/marr Morrissey....
I am the son
I am the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar

I am the son and heir
Of nothing in particular
Oh shut your mouth
How can you say?
I go about things the wrong way ?
I am Human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

I am the son
I am the heir
Of a shyness that is criminally vulgar

I am the son and heir
Oh, of nothing in particular
Oh shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way ?
I am Human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

There's a club, if you'd like to go
You could meet somebody who really loves you

So you go, and you stand on your own
And you leave on your own
And you go home, and you cry
And you want to die
When you say it's gonna happen "now"
Well, when exactly do you mean ?

See I've already waited too long
And all my hope is gone

Oh shut your mouth
How can you say
I go about things the wrong way ?
I am Human and I need to be loved
Just like everybody else does

General CommentI think this song is totally about being lonely after losing a boyfriend or girlfriend. Now that you are on your own, your shyness prevents you from being able to meet new people. So you go out and try to mingle but it doesn't really help and you go home lonely again. So you feel like its too late to even try, and you'll just have to be alone forever.

General CommentYep, the Smiths. SRC actually did a pretty good cover of it, it's been covered a dozen times and most version are crap (T.a.t.u., and there's a shitty mix being used as the Charmed intro now). Hundred Reasons do an okay job as well.

General CommentEssentially it's about loneliness and hope vs. hopelessness. There's also some homosexual underpinings, but lots of Morrissey stuff has that.
