"Now" as written by and Travis Shane Meeks....
I feel alone even with myself
But does it better me
I'd like to tell you how I'm seeing now
But ruins everything

You try to judge me now/tomorrow's okay
You try to tell me now how I should feel
I don't feel like I should be here

I feel alone even with myself
Do you know what I mean
I can't explain those things that seem to repel me
They ruin everything

Your fears are working now/but I don't complain
I'm working hard to listen and that's okay
Don't you know it's not okay to be afraid of me

I hate to tell you but you're in my way
I hate when someone tries to push me away
Don't you know you can't be afraid of me
Giving away all I'm feeling now

Why don't you listen to this heart full of pain
Sounds like complaining but it's hard to refrain
Don't you know you can't be afraid of me
Giving away all I'm feeling now

General Commentthis song is so awesome live... anyway. i think it's about how you should treat others the way you want to be treated. i know it sounds corny, but it's true. when people judge you or beat you or look down on you, remember how that feels before you make assumptions about others.

General Commentmy personal interpretation of this song is in regards to two people splitting ways and sung in the perspective of the person who caused the fallout possibly, they seemed to have learned to let the other person go and keep quiet even tho they still have tremendous feelings for them but are insecure with how the other person may perceive them. maby the perspective of the singer was one of being obsessed with this person and in turn they feel they say more to them about how they feel by finally just leaving them alone while at the same time they seem lost in their loss
