I'm A Coward
Put Your Knife In Me
Walk Away
Walk Away
Walk Away
I Don't Know You:
I Can't Use You
I Don't Know You:
I Can't Use You
Put Your Knife In Me
Put Your Knife In Me
I Love You
I'm Worthless
Put Your Knife In Me
Walk Away
I'm Worthless
I Love You
I'm Worthless
I Love You
I'm Worthless
Worthless

General CommentNot really... Or at all. Slavish affection towards someone who intends to harm you and begging for abuse just to affirm your passive stance. Pretty sick, eh? I could go on.

General CommentThis might as well be called, "The Masochist's Song". It's is about one who derives pleasure from being considered inferior to another and just being completely submissive to everything. Most of the songs by Swans cover this subject. Fairly disturbing, haha. I like it.

Song FactMichael Gira said in an interview recently the song is based on a short story he wrote. In the story the man wakes up with a hard-on needing to take a piss, he'd been drinking at party or something. He opens the door into the next room and he sees a man raping a child, a little girl. Instead of running in and bashing the rapist's head in or something he decides to go back to sleep. That's why he's a coward, useless... Tha's why he wants to be killed. It's a pain of unlivable intensity to remember his failure help the child. Who wouldn't feel this way? I don't know about the 'I love you', I haven't read the short story though. There's a live performance recorded in Copehagen, 2013 I think, on youtube. It's incredible.
