"Job" as written by Inga D. Marchand and Y ....
Cut off the arms.
Cut off the head.
Cut off the legs.
Get rid of the body.
Heartache to heartache.
Job to job.
Dollar to dollar.
Body to body. pus.
Poison. blood.
Shit: get rid of the body.
Heartache to heartache.
Heartache to heartache.
Why hide
My heart pumps.
My legs move.
I sit down. I rot.
I hide my stink.
I follow directions.
I know how to work.
I keep my mouth shut.
I know my place.
I hide my stink.
I need you more than I hate myself.
You hurt me then you hurt yourself.
Why hide the lie?

General CommentDifferent order: "Heartache to heartache, dollar to dollar, body to body, job to job". At least, I think so. Sad even with the expletives and Cop-style backing. Sounds like a drunken dirge sung by several down-on-their-luck Kafkaesque laborers.

General CommentIt sounds like it's from the perspective of a hitman to me. I agree that it's one of the sadder songs on Cop, especially how they sing/moan/whatever "heartache to heartache."

General Commentsounds like the struggle to survive the disgust of menial work to me. throw out the body of another failure and get hired only to blow it again because you can't take it. anyone with a bad job should find this theraputic more than sad. ps. why hide lyrics are in here as well, but it's a seperate song.
