"Swingset" as written by and Darrell Hyde Nathan Gray....
I am here, take this I can't feel anyway I can't hurt I can't bleed
But I can kneel as well as you once did
Deep inside I can feel the screams
Growing louder every day Crying out for a new rain
Manipulate my submission To push this pain onto myself
Mama said that she would save me
The angels said that they would save me I can fly I can away
So why does the pavement
Look so damn close

    General CommentI like:
Mama said that she would save me
The angels said that they would save me

I think that was the saddest part.

General Commentthe lyric book explains, so for all you who don't own the cd you should know, this is the short version. a kid is abused by his dad, his mom doesn't stop it. his grandma tells him that if prays for something he'll get it, so one night he prays for wings to fly away. next morning the kid wakes up excited, and he jumps out of his 2nd story bedroom window to fly away, and falls to his death, and then he was free. it paints a vivid picture of how horrible child abuse is.
