I was on you side and I can't believe that it's coming
back to haunt me. You were on that side too and I
can't, no I can't go back and save you. Why didn't you
do as you were told? Why didn't you just go home?

General CommentI think this song is about seeing a friend do stupid shit and knowing you can't stop them.

General CommentI have a friend that I swear this song is autobiographical for him! It's about knowing someone for a long time and repeatedly trying to help them better themselves, but it ain't happening. Someone with a complete lack of motivation or drive, and a surplus of bad habits("And what you got in the bag?" Alcohol/drugs), possibly a violent streak("Why didn't you just stay home?" A lot of people ask themselves that same question when they get into trouble in public). Then she finally just gives up on trying to work with this person("no, I won't go back and bail you out"), and focus on herself again. Why Pizza Cutter, I have no clue!

General CommentI guess it's called "Pizza Cutter" because the person the song's about worked at a pizza place and cut pizzas... maybe?
