Girl, it's been a long time that we've been apart
Much too long for a man who needs love
I miss you since I've been away
Babe, it wasn't easy to leave you alone
It's getting harder each time that I go
If I had the choice, I would stay

There's no one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

No one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

Girl, there are really no words strong enough
To describe all my longing for love
I don't want my feelings restrained
Oh babe, I just need you like never before
I just imagine you'd come through this door
You'd take all my sorrow away

There's no one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

No one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

No one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

No one like you
I can't wait for the nights with you
I imagine the things we'll do
I just want to be loved by you

To Me, this song is about loving somebody so bad that it's raving you mad. I'm never getting enough of this song.

I love this song! i think its pretty obvious what it's talking about... I think the scorps are the best band ever, with no exceptions. I mean how many other bands have been going for 46 years? Not very many! I can't believe that they did their farewell world tour!!! they can't retire!!! and what makes me so mad is the fact that i missed their concert when they came to vegas!!!! oh, that made me so mad!!! i still haven't gotten over it and that was over a year ago. anyway great song, never gets old. Scorpions have earned their place in history even if all the charts and everything won't say it. They are the BEST!!!

It's either about loving them so much.. or just wanting them so darn much that it drives you wild. Either way Scorpions rock !!!

One of Scorpions best songs, off of their best album. I love the dark atmosphere they had on their first few releases. As usual the song has awesome guitar work, and Klaus' heavily accented voice is at it's prime.

definitely an intense love song.when it comes on the radio the hair on my arms stand up and the volume goes way up. hard to say if its my favorite scorpions song as every time i hear another one of their hits i think that one is and so on . might just be that scorpions are the greatest rock n roll band that ever was.

Like the rest of their work (perhaps even more so than the rest of their work), this song has incredible guitar work, and like Muzzy said, Klaus' voice is at his prime here.

I love how 90% of all Scorpion's songs sound the same. And most of them are awesome.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
