If you want it and you're going out of your mind
If you want me in your bed we better do it on the sly,
and you know why, do it on the sly, and you know why
One Song for you
We wrote a little tune
it takes off for you
Hold on, hold on it's coming soon

If you feel it in your body like a hurricane,
Let your arms become propellers
take off don't feel any shame.
I know for you it don't make sense
I don't make sense
Nothing comes true
because the doors were locked for you

Got a message spelled out in a lovesick bruise
I got this secret code
that only flame holders know how to use.
Piled up for you
the notes I wrote on hollow walls
Let me come through
Pass through the things that we went through

Jump in, jump out
Get in, get out
Jump in, jump out
Get in, get out

Have memory of the things we said
(Jump in, jump out)
take memory of the things we left
(Get in, get out)
Have memory of the things we said
(Jump in, jump out)
take memory of the things we left
(Get in, get out)

Drop little boy crumbs you could follow back
when you get lost becoming a man
Drop little boy crumbs you could follow back
when you get lost becoming a man

It's a lie, it's the truth
You need it more
than I do
I want it all for you
but I can't live for you

Hmm, for some reason I imagined this little crazy story in my head when I heard this song and I thought about how this album must have been written around the time Corin had married Bangs. I think it is very deep and personal between Carrie and Corin and basically Corin is telling Carrie, "We can't forget about the times we had but I am moving on" and Carrie is saying "Go ahead, I wish you the best, I'll keep the memories that you left."

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
