"Factory Girl" as written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards....
Waiting for a girl who's got curlers in her hair
Waiting for a girl she has no money anywhere
We get buses everywhere
Waiting for a factory girl

Waiting for a girl and her knees are much too fat
Waiting for a girl who wears scarves instead of hats
Her zipper's broken down the back
Waiting for a factory girl

Waiting for a girl and she gets me into fights
Waiting for a girl we get drunk on Friday night
She's a sight for sore eyes
Waiting for a factory girl

Waiting for a girl and she's got stains all down her dress
Waiting for a girl and my feet are getting wet
She ain't come out yet
Waiting for a factory girl

General Commentthe fiddle is actually more american sounding, and paired with the mandolin this song has a real american bluegrass sound to it. just listen to country honk by the stones, these guys know how to sound pretty yankee

General CommentI find it amazing that a 24 year old British 'lad' could have such a great understanding of rural American life. He obviously learned it from old blues but my God what a great job of putting it all together to form his own songs.

General CommentHe's not A Redneck, my dad can sound just like him on this song, (me too). But I'm not a redneck.

General CommentJumpy - you've got a real appreciation for them thar Stones/Mick. Thars gold in them thar songs! I agree. Sometimes a perceptive outsider with talent can tap into pathos better than a reasonably smart person in the middle of it. They hit this one with form and content deader on than squished armadilla!

General CommentI suppose there is nothing in the lyrics that indicates that it's in America. Maybe you're right. Maybe I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
