"Seas Of Cheese" as written by and Les Claypool....
When the going gets tough
And the stomach acids flow
The cold wind of conformity
Is nipping at your nose
When some trendy new atrocity
Has brought you to your knees
Come with us we'll sail the
Seas of cheese

General CommentIt's about the music business bullshit. Les said it himself. This was their first major label album.

General CommentYeah, I can see that. It's abviously about not wanting to conform (which is all music exec seem to want their artists to do). It's saying that they wont conform.

General CommentDefinitely about the music industry, but like all Primus songs I think it has a metaphor, as with the other songs on the album it's one about life and specifically in this case about non-conformity.

General CommentPrimus' first major label, as said above.
Pretty much a commentary on the music industry and how seriously the majority of the bands take themselves (who aren't all that shit-hot to be doing so. Les says "let's sail the seas of cheese," saying that they offer cheesy music as an alternative art form.
