The other night I tried to go to a show
But the man at the door he told me no
He said "No one under 21 allowed"
But he must have been stupid 'cause I saw my friends in the crowd
He said "You can't buy an alchoholic drink"
So we don't care what you really think

(Chorus)
Why's this happened to me
And the show was for free
It sucks to be
Under 21

So I went and got myself a plan that would work
And I went home and got a real short skirt
And I flirt my way right through that god damn door
But once inside the music was no more
Well I guess I got there just a bit too late
I guess it's just my luck
It's just my fate
I only want to have a little fun
But every time I try they tell me "You're not 21"

General CommentI hate it that you have to be 21 to do anything. A lot of my friends are older and i can never do anything with them because they all like to go to bars and clubs that i can't get into. It really pisses me off that they are so strict untill you show some skin or flirt a little, then you get right in. I love Save ferris and how much they are all about real life.

My InterpretationIt's about being told that you can't do certain things until you're 21 or older, and when you try to find ways to sneak into a bar or a club, the thing you went to see ended. It's like you're being punished for breaking the "no one under 21 allowed" rule.
