"La Playa" as written by Pablo Benegas Urabayen, Alvaro Fuentes Ibarz, Haritz Garde Fernandez, Amaya Montero Saldias and Xabier San Martin Beldarrain....
No sé si aún me recuerdas,
Nos conocimos al tiempo
Tú, el mar y el cielo
Y quién me trajo a ti

Abrazaste mis abrazos
Vigilando aquel momento,

Tu vida, tu vida

General CommentThis girl is remembering a time in her life when she was in love with someone. 50 summers have passed since that last summer & she never saw this person again. So she's wishing she could be reborn into another life where she could be with this person everyday from sunrise. She can't do that so instead she will capture this story of a love that has affected her for so long into the most beautiful song in the world.

TranslationHere's a translation into English. It's pretty literal so you can follow it with the Spanish if you like. Apologies for the less poetic bits - doesn't do the song justice!

    The Beach

I don't know if you still remember me
We met at the same time
You, the sea and the sky
And the one who brought me to you

    You held my embraces
    Keeping watch over that moment
    Although it was the first
And I kept it for myself

If I could be born again
I'd see you wake up every day (literally, 'I'd see you dawn every day')
Smiling like you did every time
    Like you did that time

I'm going to write you the most beautiful song in the world
I'm going to capture our story in just one second
And one day you'll see that this crazy person forgets very little
However many years of his long life go by

That day I said good bye
To that beach of my life
    I made you a promise:
That I would see you like this again

Today it's been more than fifty summers
    Since we've seen each other
You, the sea and the sky
Or the one who brought me to you

If I could be born again
I'd see you wake up every day
Smiling like you did every time
    Like you did that time

I'm going to write you the most beautiful song in the world
I'm going to capture our story in just one second
And one day you'll see that this crazy person forgets very little
However many years of his long life go by

And I'm going to write you the most beautiful song in the world
And I'm going to capture our story in just one second
And one day you'll see that this crazy person forgets very little
    However many years go by
However many years of your long life go by
    Your life
    Your life
