"There's Always Something There To Remind Me" as written by Burt Bacharach and Hal David....
I walk along the city streets you used to walk along with me
And every step I take reminds me of just how we used to be
Well, how can I forget you, girl?
When there is always something there to remind me
Always something there to remind me

As shadows fall, I pass a small cafe where we would dance at night
And I can't help recalling how it felt to kiss and hold you tight
Well, how can I forget you, girl?
When there is always something there to remind me
Always something there to remind me
I was born to love her, and I will never be free
You'll always be a part of me
Oh whoa ooh whoa ooh whoa oh

If you should find you miss the sweet and tender love we used to share
Just go back to the places where we used to go and I'll be there
Well, how can I forget you, girl?
When there is always something there to remind me
Always something there to remind me
I was born to love her, and I will never be free
You'll always be a part of me
'Cause there is always something there to remind me

Always something there to remind me

General CommentThis song quickly became a favorite to me,the beat, the vocals and the lyrics are great. The lyrics alone are worth the listen, and this song is so meaningful, and i think its pretty much well stated by the title of the song what the message is he/shes trying to get out, that no matter what,he/she cant stop being reminded by memories of the ex.

General Commentthis song was originally written by burt bacharach and recorded by either dionne warwick or sandy shaw. maybe both. it is not originally by naked eyes. naked eyes are one hit wonders whose one hit was not written by them.

General Commentit was Sandie Shaw. Naked Eyes are well remembered by fans of 80s music, here in UK. Great album.
I think you've all said it about this song x
