"She's So High" as written by Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Steven Alexander James and David Rowntree....
I see her face
Everyday
I see her face
It doesn't help me
It doesn't help me

[Chorus: x2]
She's so high
She's so high
She's so high
I want to crawl all over her

I think of her
Everyday
I think of her
It doesn't help me
It doesn't help me

[Chorus: x2]

She doesn't help me
She doesn't help me
She doesn't help me

[Chorus: x2]

General CommentA bit of unrequited love going on here? Seems like he can't get to the girl that he wants because she's too above him.

General CommentThe song was part of Leisure being released at a very bad time. I think it's a great album, but people were growing out of the old Madchester rock and psychodelic stuff that all the musicians were putting out... Then came Nirvana [I hate them SO much]... But this song was all part of just being released at the time. Thats why their style completely changed in MLIR because they didn't sell enough in Leisure.

But yeah, this is a "sex, drugs and love song" as um... I think... Jesus I forget his name... He's some blonde hair bloke on some documentry and then Damon agreed.

It's about getting high and having sex. No deeper meaning behind it at all. Even Damon says so.

My InterpretationDefinitely a simple getting high and getting laid song. Anglophiles may try to find something deeper but this was released just after the Madchester scene and easy drugs (extasy) and easy sex were only just falling out of favor. I recall being at a show of theirs in Glastonbury and the crowd around me were all chanting "I want to *** all over her" instead of "Climb" ..heh, not too obvious, eh?

General CommentOne time I thought about my girlfriend this way, so, to me, it doesn't necessarily have to be an unattainable person, just someone who isn't around when you want them to be.
