"Autumn Goodbye" as written by and Eric Foster White....
I never promised you a happy ending
You never said you wouldn't make me cry
But summer love will keep us warm long after
Our autumn goodbye, autumn goodbye, autumn goodbye.

Thinking of you
And the love of our lives
In the sweet summertime
so sad but true (so true, so true)
We must leave it behind in our heart in our mind.
From April through September
Bittersweet was the love that we shared don't forget I remember

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

Memories can make (they can make)
But my heart has a place for the smile on your face
And maybe someday (someday)
We can be more than friends love will find us again.
Red leaves and blue tomorrows
Time will give back the love that we shared on the time that we borrowed

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

From April through September
Bittersweet was the love that we shared don't forget I remember

[Chorus:Repeat x2]

We leave behind, the sum my time, our hearts our minds
They will remind, we won't forget
The day we met
The day we cried ooh
Autumn goodbye

General Commentthis sogn brings me backt o wehn i used to be a die hard britney fan during the golden age of pop. these days i'm pretty much agreeing with charlie the man here.

though this song does bring me back to the golden days of my youth when my bff and my sis and i used to play house and dance around the room to this song and pretend we were britney.

General CommentFor the people who are saying she's a slut..

she is not a slut, she only appears as slutty because of the media attention she receives. I can guarantee more than half the girls you associate with are exactly like her, or possibly worse.

What's wrong with being a girl who wants to have a little bit of fun? And who doesn't make silly mistakes sometimes? Just because she is portrayed as being perfect, does not mean she is, because no humans are perfect.

Jealousy takes hold of people and makes them conjure up some pretty harsh conclusions about people that aren't necessarily true.

I'm not saying that I'm a great fan of Britney's, I'm just saying that what you say may not be particularly accurate. Being an over-judgemental person will get you no where in life.

General CommentAhh, Autumn goodbye. The first song i learnt off by heart, back when i liked pop... But now i see pop as the thing you like when your young and jouvenille, all pop does you is make you see what music you really like. Most of the time, the only reasonb you like pop is to fit in. But as you get to the age of not caring, it changes, and then you begin to like the music that you will like for the rest of your life. Who knows you could like pop for the rest of your life... I used to love pop but now pop is in the past... And yes Britney spears is over, but everyone said madonna was over a long time ago too, and look at her now..
