"S.O.S." as written by Stig Anderson, Benny Goran Bror Andersson, Bjoern K. Ulvaeus and Michael Kunze....
Where are those happy days, they seem so hard to find
I tried to reach for you, but you have closed your mind
Whatever happened to our love?
I wish I understood
It used to be so nice, it used to be so good

So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
S. O. S.
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me
S. O. S.
When you're gone
How can I even try to go on?
When you're gone
Though I try how can I carry on?

You seem so far away though you are standing near
You made me feel alive, but something died I fear
I really tried to make it out
I wish I understood
What happened to our love, it used to be so good

So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
S. O. S.
The love you gave me, nothing else can save me
S. O. S.
When you're gone
How can I even try to go on?
When you're gone
Though I try how can I carry on?

So when you're near me, darling can't you hear me
S. O. S.
And the love you gave me, nothing else can save me
S. O. S.
When you're gone
How can I even try to go on?
When you're gone
Though I try how can I carry on?
When you're gone
How can I even try to go on?
When you're gone
Though I try how can I carry on?

General Commentas a metal head i have to say...... i love ABBA and i don't give a FUCK what anyone thinks when they walk in and my stereo goes from Dead Skin Mask to Take a Chance, i love those swedish girls ^_^ S.O.S. is perhaps my favorite ABBA song. i like all the different feelins i get from each part, its dark and melancholy-ish then its a hopeful but sad tone like "are you listening, we could fix this" cuz "when your gone how could i even try to go on." but thats just what i get from it.

General CommentThis song brings back such sad memories of singing it to someone and really meaning it...
SOS shows very well how you clinge onto a relationship till the last second, till it can't be saved anymore, where the end seems so awful, yet it's painfully close and you're well aware of it. I still love the song, as painful as it may be.
