"Reunion" as written by and Quincy D. Jones Jack J. Hayes....
Got a letter. an invitation.
The date is here, and it's been ten years now.
And it's time for me.
Why would I spend more time with people that I hate,
Couldn't wait to leave behind?
Would we dance, make a toast,
As you boast about the things that you haven't done.
Oh joy, the thrills, this is fun.
Down the hallways I still remember
The things you said.
And I hang my head low.
And I try not to feel.
So why would I spend more time with people that I hate,
Couldn't wait to leave behind?
Would we dance, make a toast,
As you boast about the things that you haven't done.
Oh joy, the thrills, fun fun.

Beautiful, you were, popular.
It's cool it's so cool. so cool.
Beautiful you were, popular.
It's cool, it's so cool. so cool.
Beautiful, you were, popular.
It's cool it's so cool. so cool.
Beautiful you were, popular.
It's cool, it's so cool. so cool.
Beautiful, you were, popular.
It's cool it's so cool. so cool.

General Commentonly full song i've heard by this band. i love it, the girl's voice just sounds beautiful to me. beautiful's the only word i can think of to possibly describe it. it's a shame this band broke up while recording their first album. but i'm sure the only album they released is great material.

General CommentMy dad is completely in love with this song and I bought him the album for his birthday. I'm not too fond of this band, but they did bring something fresh to the music scene. The vocalist has a stunning voice, it's soft and completely natural. She doesn't strain her voice, and she doesn't overdo it, it's incredible how powerful it sounds although at points it is barely audible. The guitar playing in this song is also smooth and melodic yet probably punctuated at the same time. I have to agree that the simplistic drumming of the song only adds to the beauty and natural flow of every second of it.
The meaning of this song is quite straightforward, it is about a tenth year reunion for a person who has been constantly ridiculed and left out in the dark from all the cliches and the high school groups. This person doesn't want to see all the people they've hated and "couldn't wait to leave behind". It hits home to a lot of kids out there in bands and poets and whatnot. This song is high school drama at it's finest definition.

General CommentThis song is beautiful. In my opinion I think Elizabeth has the most amazing voice I have ever heard. So soothing a calm. Their cd ended up comeing with no lyrics, but I contacted Tobin who is now with ee, and he sent me lyrics via snail mail.
