The sewers belch me up
The heavens spit me out
From ethers tragic I am born again
And now I'm with you now
Inside your world of woe
To move in desires made of deadly pretends
Until the end times begin

Is it bright where you are?
Have the people changed?
Does it make you happy you're so strange?
And in your darkest hour
I hold secrets' flame
You can watch the world devoured in its pain
Strange . . .

Climb my ribcage to
The replays run for you
Unhook my lights to peek behind the flash
For I am crystal chrome
I am shatter dome
I am kremlin king of angels avenged
To destroy the end

Is it bright where you are?
Have the people changed?
Does it make you happy you're so strange?
And in your darkest hour
I hold secrets' flame
You can watch the world devoured in its pain
Strange . . .

The zeppelins rain upon us
The guns of love disastrous
A shadow lies amongst you
To defy the future cast

Is it bright where you are?
Have the people changed?
Does it make you happy you're so strange?
And in your darkest hour
I hold secrets' flame
You can watch the world devoured in its pain
Strange . . .

    General Comment:just some quick thoughts
    "the sewers belch me up..
the heavens spit me out... "
billy not being too indie or whatever for some music fans and not being too popular for the rest of the world after MCIS was finally over.

"unhook my lights to peek behind the flash"
looking past all the rock star bullshit to see how billy truely is.

General Comment:To all of those people who said the line was "Inside your world of wow." Its "Inside your world of woe." I double checked the lyrics that are written here. It clearly states "Inside your world of woe."
This song, I think is abosulety amazing. Very good lyrics and strong meaning.

General Comment:this song rules! it's from around the same era as 'adore' but was on the batman and robin soundtrack. sounds more like something from 'machina' but who cares! this song is Corgan at his best. anyways, that's what i think...

General Comment:too bad this song is associated with that atrocious Batman film.

this is one of SP's best works. i always liked the ambiguity of the lyrics.

General Comment:Actually, this song could be about Batman. It's about somebody not accepted into society, but only one person got through to him. He has a hidden identity, but he will reveal himself to this person. He's different from everybody else. If anybody wants me to explain this word for word, I would.

General Comment:"and now i'm with you now
inside your world of wow!" is probably the worst line that billy could have ever come up with

General Comment:I think its about the villain, not the hero... How they're not accepted in society, but still have something to contribute... If you think about the characters in the movie, I think this theory makes a little more sense...
