"King Of Silence" as written by and Yuka Honda Miho Hatori....
I can take your pain away if you tear down your fortress of memory
I can take your pain away, you don't always need to be strong
I can take your pain away, I know we wear different shoes
I can take your pain away, barefoot we will tear the truth

You are the king of silence
You don't need one word to talk to me
All I know is we have sympathy
Close your eyes and lean your head on me

I can take your pain away if you find a remedy in me
I can take your pain away, you can take as much as you want from me
I can take your pain away, we have a distance between us
I can take your pain away, every time we can find the clue

General CommentShe doesn't like it that way, Dev. He's not just the strong, silent type. He is silent and closed-off but she knows he suffers in silence and she wants to stop his suffering. She wishes strongly that he would let her in, but, lacking that, is offering what she can to help. This song is so fucking romantic and still realistic. It's beautiful.

General CommentThis is one of my all time favourite songs. It is my "THE summer jam." Lots of summer memories come back with this song.

General CommentThis song has one of the sweetest horn arrangements ever. This song is obvious, her man is the strong, silent type and she likes it that way.

General CommentProbably in my top 5 favorite songs of all time... The horns, the lyrics, the vocals... amazing work by these ladies, as always.
