I was born in another world
Strictly connetted to a piece of my mind
Nothing more than a little land
It is a small cradle where I'm a kid

I am the princess in there,
Nothing wrong in my fantasy world
I am the king, the nation,
No dictators or religions

No laws laid down for me
I have my own liberty inside of me
Nothing to loose, I want to live here

As you see I'm the only survivor in this land

When did I hear this wind before
Change like this to a deeper roar?
I'm starting to bleed in another way
I just need sometime to complete myself

These spotlights are here again
I can't see anything, I'm blind
This nature of time and space
Makes me sick of the situation

I couldn't know if I...
If I will be strong enough for this
I have to choose, do I want live here?

General CommentThe track is about retreating into your fantasies; a place where the things you live with are those that you want - there's no problems, and you are in control. The singer asks if she can live here - should she continue to live within her fantasy or return to the 'real world'. She has nothing to lose any more and wants to live in her world.

The next section of the track is her being called back to the real world - in my mind the spotlights and the confusion of time and space are the 'reality' closing in on here, possibly an institution ? She asks, quite plainly whether she is strong enough to take the real world.

Placed in context, this track follows 'My Wings' which ends saying "I got the blade; change your mind; I'll make you stay", and preceeds 'Cold', which opens with 'Skin so cold, I knew you'd go away; And now I put you down to lay; Nothing to feel for you, This was our last dance'. Which on a quick reading might be taken to mean that the singer is threatening their lower, and kills them (end of My Wings), retreats into themselves on realising what they've done (To Myself I turned) and then returns back to find their lover cold and dead (Cold). I'm pretty sure it's a metaphorical 'kill' and 'dead' that is intended, although I'm not certain.

Most of the other commentators have treated each track individually, so it's possible I read too much into the continuing theme of the album.

General CommentGood song! and i agree with gerph here, is all about retreating into your phantasies or mind in search for consolation that the real world cannot give us.

General CommentYup totally agree with the fantasy world, it allows her to be a child yet rule as a king, and she wishes she could live there instead of facing the brutal truth of life. She doesn't know if she'll be strong enough to face her reality so she go to her fantasy world. I love this song, I think it is my favorite, the guitar is haunting in the beginning. Cristina's voice is beautiful, and I love how in the chorus she contrasts the guitar chords.

General CommentI thgink she's missing childhood, and she feels the world she has in front of her, as an adult, as something too difficult, to disgusting , to hard to bear with.

General Commenti think she is egocentric, so she misses her chilhood, when it was possible.

General CommentOften times people will create fantasies inside their minds. We all desire freedom, but we may never get our wish. Childhood is the symbol for happiness, and freedom, and carelessness. Wouldn't it be great if the world was just a land where youth would never end, and rules were against the rules?

General CommentI think she is imagining being a child again and living all of the things she missed. She dreams of another world where she is the leader and there are no laws and she is free. Towards the end the real world comes back and she is stuck choosing between the two.
