We're no the first, I hope we're not the last
'Cause I know we're all ready for that adult crash
The time is so little, the time belongs to us
Why is everybody in such a fucking rush?

Make do with what you have
Take what you can get
Pay no mind to us
We're just a minor threat

We're just a minor threat

Early to finish, I was late to start
I might be an adult, but I'm a minor at heart
Go to college, be a man, what's the fucking deal?
It's now how old I am, it's how old I feel

Take your time
Try no to forget
We never will
We're just a minor threat

We're just a minor threat

General CommentI think it's about how teens are always in such a hurry to grow up. They want to move out before they're sixteen and all of that shit. I love the line "The time is so little; the time belongs to us. Why is everybody in such a fucking rush?" Why do people want all that responsibility that comes with marriage and kids and all of that stuff? I'm with Ian on this one; I'd rather keep out of that as long as possible.

General CommentThe whole philosophy MacKaye and Jeff Nelson had with Dischord is summed up in the openign line: "We're not the first, I hope we're not the last".

General Commenti like that they define their name. Its kinda funny because they are saying they aren't a big deal even though they have made huge impacts. But it is about being a kid at heart and living your life as a minor, weither that has to do with drinking or other wise. and "mattballenger" i heard two men in their 50's or so talking about and i quote "radical youth" it was quiet funny.

General Commenteven though i think this has to do with growing up too fast, i also think this song is about how adult's give teens no credit. i am so sick of 18+ concerts. the only all ages ones are for crappy pop bands.
