You sheltered me from harm.
You kept me warm.
You kept me warm.

You gave my life to me.
You set me free.
You set me free.

The finest years I ever knew.
Were all the ones I spent with you.

I would give anything I own. Give up my life and my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own, just to have you back again.

You taught me how to love.
And what it's of, what it's of.

You never said too much but still you showed the way.
And so I knew, from watching you.

Nobody else can ever know.
The part of me that can't let go.

I would give anything I own. Give up my life and my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own, just to have you back again.
Just to touch you once again.

Is there someone you know, you're loving them so but taking them all for granted.
You may lose them one day. Someone takes them away and they'll never hear the words you have to say.

I would give anything I own. Give up my life and my heart, my home.
I would give everything I own, just to have you back again.

Everything I own. My life, my heart, my home.
I'd give everything I own. My life, my heart, my home.

Every little thing.
Just to have you back again.
Just to hold you.

This is a great song though a cover...

It is clearly about a guy who made all the wrong choices and has lost the one he loved the most. he regrets this and is ready to give up everything and anything to get her back and to be with her once again.... this songs reduces me to tears every time I hear it....

I can totally relate to this song as I to had someone really special in my life and have lost her due to my mistakes, and I know I wont ever get her back ever again, I have lost her forever....

Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
