"Rhinoceros" as written by and William Patrick Corgan....
Planned a show
Trees and balloons
Ice cream snow
See you in June

Could have known
I would reveal
Should have known
I would conceal your way

She knows, she knows, she knows
She knows, she knows, she knows
How's it
She knows, she knows, she knows

Colors show
After the moon
I should go
See you in June
Your way

Open your eyes
To these must I lie?

General Commenti'll take a guess at the meaning...

the person has a deep dark secret, and he wants to tell the person he's talking to, because he's having the greatest time ever with her, and she already knows him so well...but he's been trying not to tell...
and then when it says "open your eyes/to these must I lie?" that means he cannot keep the secret because he loves her or something.

I think it's like that. But I could be wrong.

General CommentGreat song... and for anyone who wants to know why its called rhinoceros heres one of my fave Corgan quotes
"Say you write a song about a chandelier, and the chandelier gives off light. And the light is the color red and red reminds you of the color you're not supposed to wear around a bull. So you name the song 'Cow'."

There are a few songs with random names like mayonaise (one of my faves) jelly belly, siva etc i think its pretty kool how he does it though

billy-corgan.com is the site if anyone wants to have a look

General Commentthis was on their website...the intro music rocks...I never really got into Gish and the B*ST*RD that stole all of my CDs has further delayed my Gish experience. But I believe even without hearing it that it's an underrated album.

General CommentI was with this girl on friday (it was the 13th) and she asked me if I like her...I just looked into her eyes and said yeah, so then she broke my heart

now whenever I hear this song I keep thinking about that part of the song "Open you eyes, to these must I lie) cause if I just lied and said no then things would be different...but I just couldn't do it...
