"Pug" as written by and William Patrick Corgan....
Kiss and kill me sweetly
Come and drive me home
Drag the miles in me
I am yours alone

Inside where it's warm
Wrap myself in you
Outside where I'm torn
Fight myself in two
In two
Into you

Desire me so deeply
Drain and kick me hard
Whisper secrets for me
Try to go too far

Inside where it's warm
Wrap myself in you
Outside where I'm torn
Fight myself in two
In two
Into...

Please don't change
Please don't change at all
Bring your rain
Bring your rain to fall

Inside where it's warm
Wrap myself in you
Outside where I'm torn
Fight myself in two
In two
Into you

Come and kiss me sweetly
Ride the telephone
Drag the miles to me
I am yours alone
Yours alone
On the telephone
Yours alone
Looking for a kiss kiss
Yours alone

General Commentmy guess is that the telephone thing represents a long distance relationship and the person is outside of his reach and this makes him feel torn (away from his love). Drag the miles to me (bring yourself here!) He's getting wore down and sexually frustrated. =)

General Commentwell, pug is short for "pug-list" and it's like a boxer type of thing (the ones that fight...not the ones you wear..."i think it's about knowing your relationships going sour but you still love the person in a way...or maybe it's like knowing your bf/gf is going somewhere...and every kiss is like a punch in the mouth...

General CommentTo me, I feel it's about loving and desiring somebody so much that you want them to almost 'abuse' you in a way for you to get as close to them as possible. It's very sexy, sensual and raw. Definitely one of my favourites off Adore.

General CommentIt's about a wrinkly dog that Billy likes to cuddle with when he's angry.

General CommentI think the music to the song lends it a bit of a stalkerish aspect. Especially the opening riff. It makes me feel like I'm following somone in a creepy fashion.

General CommentI agree with rockstar and zeroglitter, this is one of the best songs (to me) on Adore. I dont know about the whole "stalker" thing Heffy was talking about.

General Commenti think pug refers to a pug machine, since he is changing for this one girl who he loves who is sort of abusing him. Or it could be reffering to different types of "pugs." When he says

    yours alone

    inside where it's warm
    wrap myself in you
    outside where I'm torn
    fight myself in two

I think he means that when he's with her (inside, where's it's warm) everything is ok but when he's not, he's confuzed and not really sure what to do.
