"Fear" as written by and Michael/donegan Wengren....
Feel something again rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk
Feel something again rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk
Feel something again rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk
Feel something again rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk rahk

Reject
Are you no one
Feel you nothing
You know I'll bet you think
You have a good reason to be living
In the limelight of the fortunate ones

You're too weakened by the poison
That they feed you in the living lie
They don't believe you
Call to no one
Trust in nothing
Little impotent one

I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be innocent, you know
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to let them hypnotize me

Punk ass, are you listening
Can you hear me or are you deaf and dumb to my language
Do the real words seem to hurt you
Well put em' up motherfucker
You'll feel it
When I stamp it on your forehead
So you will never forget
That you're a reject
And you're a no one
And you're nothing
Little impotent one

I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be innocent, you know
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to let them hypnotize me
I don't want to let them hypnotize me

Fear awaken
Go with it now
And let it overcome you
Fear awaken
Your mind is racing

I don't understand why you don't like me
Why don't you like me?
Am I so different from you
Now does it scare you that I'm able to discern
What to love and what to burn
I'll add your fuel to the fire now
Stand back, brother take your hand back
Leave it and I might crack
More than a smile or two you see
You don't judge what you don't understand
You can't deny what has been given to me

I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be innocent, you know
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to be
I don't want to let them hypnotize me
I don't want to let them hypnotize me

Fear awaken
Go with it now
And let it overcome you
Fear awaken
Go with it now
Go with it now
Your fear awaken
Go with it now
And let it overcome you
Fear awaken
Your mind is racing
Erasing now!

Hey reject
Are you no one
Feel you nothing
You know I'll bet you think
You have a good reason to be living
In the limelight of the fortunate ones you know!

General Commentsorry if my comment was a bit long, lol, but i realy get hyped at the sight that this many people know what it means to be rejected, people everywhere tell me to do things to be "normal",and it makes me sick to see how society trys to convert everyone into mindless drones,so i take pride in being one of the rejected, and people should beleive in this song more often, most people like us dont have the will or the confidence to fight back, what they dont realize is,when youve been through enough mental stress and pain in life, physical pain doesnt seem that bad,i noticed this one day when i decided to say something to somone who was saying shit about me,and to try to put me in my place,he walked up to me and hit me hard enough to make blood fly out my nose,i was just stunned for a few seconds, then i looked at him and laughed in his face and told him what he was and that a worthless sack of shit like him could never learn what it means to live and eventually youll learn how fucking pathetic you are and wish you werent such a dumbass when you face the world and you cant handle reality

General CommentThey just said everything about this song that needs to be said about the entire corrupted world. This song has so much energy to it and David Draimon puts everything he has into everything he does. I think Disturbed will be around for a long time.

General CommentThis is the best song on "the sickness" album. It's my favorite becuase I feel as though I can relate. It's about society taking over the minds and actions of the everyday person.

People don't feel, they just run around thinking that they are independant. Instead they become weakend by the rutine of life (poison). Thus, the "living lie".

In the song, they try to reason with people. They try to break the "curse" on society. Instead of understanding, society becomes angry. This dosn't matter, the way i feel is that as long as i understand the curruption, i'm ok. The song mocks the poisoned people. Thus the lines, "put them up motherfucker, you're gonna feel it, when i stamp it, on your forhead. so you will never forget that you're noone, and your nothing."

The last part of the song just brings the whole meaning together...a great conclusion. It's fairly self-explainitory.

General Commenta very good song indeed.........perhaps the only song i like from 'disturbed'.as disturbed is hated from many people of the society and think it is sick,he says that anyone who is a bit different isn't sick.this also relates to the people who get influenced from other men of the society.'disturbed really used its music to convey a message to million of people.no one can deny that.

General Commenti saw disturbed on april 22, 2003, (with unloco, chevelle, and taproot) on the music as a weapon II tour, they kick major ass, this is one of my favorites by them, especially live, when the intro is playing he says, 'now i've asked you this before, when it kicks in, i want everybody, from front to back, from left to right, to JUMP THE FUCK UP!!!' then those screams at the first are done by the crowd, not them, then everybody jumps the fuck up, its great, i wanna see them the next time they come thru utah, which probably wont be in a while....
