"The Swarm" as written by Anders Martin Bjorler, Jonas Fredrik Bjorler, Adrian Erlandsson, Tomas Lindberg and Martin Paul Larsson....
Catch fire just like a living disease
Unholy desire a world on it's knees
Our burning minds they are ridden of hope
In a dreaming utopia dead on dope

A generation of obscenities
We have lost our faith in our own creativity
What is evil, but good
Tortured by it's own hunger and thirst?

The living end
The dwarfed soul of man
The living end

The sweetest of lies it's embrace so warm
So void of life one with the promised swarm
Our burning minds they are ridden of hope
In a dreaming utopia dead on dope

A generation of obscenities
Our ignorance will be the end of humanity
A dead nation under one dead god

The living end
The dwarfed soul of man
The living end

Written in napalm over genetic wastelands
We move on, our fate is to die by our own hand
A dead nation under one dead god
What is evil, but good
Tortured by it's own hunger and thirst?

General CommentI agree... but many words are wrong in the text above... tomas has great lyrics by the way and it's good that he stays away from all the fantasy crap most metal bands sing about. Sweden rocks.

General Commentwhats wrong with fantasy? tomas is really not that good of a writer. sure ATG has good music, but nearly all their lyrics have the same concept: depression. seriously. sweden rocks? not anymore at least. 2 words: In Flames

General Commentyeah this is an amazing song, its too bad not many people like this kind of music its a lot more relevant than mainstream stuff. i think its about us bringing about our own destruction as a result of our need to know everything.
shaman_FETO im sure u know this and prob wont see this cuz its 2 years after ur comment but in flames are from sweden too.
at the gates, in flames, and dark tranquility have to be the best group of bands to come out of group of friends (supposedly all 3 bands had founding members that were friends as kids)

General CommentThe intro is very steampunk-ish

I can think of a dystopic steampunk world which song depicts just like in "The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello"
