All that I need is the air that I breathe
And all that I need are things I don't need
And all that really matters is what matters to me
And who of you are like me

If I was to smile and I held out my hand
If I opened it now would you not understand
Because you know if I'm to benefit I'll do everything that I can
And who of you are like me

It will make you feel good, over my shoulder
It'll get me down and got me tied up
'Till I grow older, but feel me inside of you
Like you want it to

But is it just the pains in your head
That are thrilling me
Another life's falling down onto it's knees
But I'll never smile the way, that I did like that day

Everything will be okay
It'll be okay

fuck you pink elmo, the is a songmeaning website,

that line where he says Till I grow older, but feel me inside of you Like you want it to

isn't that referring to sex, if not, what else could it be talkin about... it doesn't seem to go with the "child like" idea of the lyrics... i think that possibly the song is about selfishness, its more about wanting all types of emotions from, sex to respect to anything that makes you feel good. ITS ABOUT GREED

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.
