"New Damage" as written by and Cornell/cameron/thayil....
A new damage comes
It's a faceless poison
A new world order
It's new damage done

The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown
The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown

Get out, yeah

A new damage comes
It's a new word for plague
A new world order
A new word for hate

The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown
The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown

Get out, yeah, before you drown
Get out, get out, oh yeah

New damage comes
It's a new word for plague
A new world order
A new word for hate

The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown
The wreck is going down
Get out before you drown

Get out, get out, get out
Before you drown, before you drown
Get out, get out, get out, get out
Get out, get out, get out, get out

Before you drown, get out
Get out before you drown
Before you drown
Before, before you drown

General CommentI believe this song is about world chaos, world war three. Get out of the countries going into the war before you're killed. "A faceless poison" means that the person/country that starts the turmoil will not be suspected until it's too late. "A new world for hate" is because the countries in in each side will hate the other side. Basically it's saying go somewhere neutral before you're caught up in hell.

General CommentI looooooov this song so much!!! To me its kind of apocalyptic rant, but not in a religious tone, rather a political tone. Like greed, capitalism, and hunger are taking over the world. Chris is talking about the systema as a whole. There is no one person to blame. The line "its a faceless poison" shows this. Amazing dark song. I agree this is limo wreck part one.

General CommentIs it just me, or does the music sound like a heavier version of Zeppelin's "Dazed abd Confused"?

    Well, anyways, great song.

General CommentThis song would have to be tied for my Favorite song off Badomotorfinger. This and Slaves & Bulldozers. The guitar is heavy and un yielding, the amount of overdubbed and interweaved guitar tracks provides a godly and complex sound that is unrivaled. I think it is unfortunate it was never played live (or atleast that I could find, it and a few other songs were never played live, or were only played once.) I also like the fact that the song can easily coincide with several moods you are in, it can go great as an angry song to sing along with when mad. But also has a tone that can be adapted to depression or a saddened mood. SoundGarden is far from excellent.
